Farrow & Ball is a British manufacturer of luxurious paints and wall-coverings. Founded in the 1940s in Dorset on the south coast of England, they have an unsurpassed collection of colours, based largely on historic palettes. Their products are therefore used in the restoration of many historic buildings and interiors. At Green Painting, we are particularly impressed with their zeroVOC formulation that contains a reduced amount of solvents. While most manufacturers switched to cheaper acrylic latex bases in the 1950s, Farrow & Ball stuck to their craft and continue to make high-quality mineral and soy-based paints. |
